Qutab minar

It is world tallest brick minaret with a height of 72.5 meters(237.8 ft)and was constructed in 1192 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak,and later complete by his successor lltutmish. the soaring conical tower is an exquisite example of Indo-islamic afghan architecture.qutub minar is a UNESCO declared  world heritage site and has survived the ravages of time impressively.the Qutab minar of the Delhi surrounded by a lush green garden,which is an ideal leisurely place for visitors.
